I understand that fitness isn't about trying to look like you're 20 again. It's about staying strong, moving well, feeling healthy, and enjoying life for as long as possible.
Since opening in March 2023, I've helped hundreds of people—particularly those over 40—become stronger, healthier, and more confident. Many of my members come to me after years of putting themselves last, dealing with old injuries, managing health conditions, or simply feeling intimidated by large commercial gyms.

A little bit about me.
Hi, I'm Philip, owner of Good Vibe Fitness, a certified personal trainer, and fitness instructor.
The first photo is me at my lowest.
I was overweight, anxious, depressed, and completely lacking in confidence. At my heaviest, I weighed over 16 stone (103.9KG). I had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and hated what I saw in the mirror.
The second photo tells a very different story.
I'm now 5 stone lighter (32KG), healthier, stronger, and happier. It's the same mirror and the same top—but a completely different person, both physically and mentally.
The transformation didn't happen overnight. It happened through consistency, support, and small, sustainable changes. Small-group personal training changed my life, and it's the reason I started Good Vibe Fitness.
I created Good Vibe Fitness for people who feel intimidated by commercial gyms.

Do I need to be fit?

How often should I train?
How often you train will depend on your goals, lifestyle, and schedule.
For most people, training three times per week provides the ideal balance between achieving results and allowing your body enough time to recover.
That said, consistency is more important than perfection. Whether you train two, three, or four times a week, we'll help you choose a routine that fits your lifestyle and keeps you progressing towards your goals.
The best training plan is one you can stick to consistently.
How will you measure my body composition?
We use Tanita's Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) technology to accurately track your progress throughout your fitness journey.
Your body composition assessment provides much more than just your weight. It measures:
Weight
Body fat percentage
Muscle mass
Body water percentage
Bone mass
Visceral fat (fat surrounding your internal organs)
Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)
Daily Calorie Intake (DCI)
