Bespoke training programs are designed to improve not just your physical fitness and health but also your mental health, well-being, and confidence.
At Good Vibes, you’ll always get a warm welcome the minute you walk through the door.
Good Vibes Fitness is not like your regular gym. In fact it is nothing like it. Here you won't feel uncomfortable or like you are being watched and judged.
It is a personal training gym where a small number of members can work together in comfort and enjoy working out together and getting to know one another.
It is a small community of people who are on similar journeys and, therefore, can help and support one another.
I provide a private training space for those who are not comfortable going to a commercial gym and need help and guidance to achieve their fitness goals.
This gym is only open at specific times to facilitate personal training and fitness classes.
It is not open to the public for general access to do their own training.
A little bit about me.
Hey,
I'm Philip. I'm a certified personal trainer, fitness instructor, and the owner of Good Vibe Fitness.
The first picture is of the old me: overweight, depressed, anxious, and miserable.
The guy in the second picture is 26 kg lighter, has a lot less body fat, and is no longer anxious, depressed, or miserable.
As you can see, it's the same top in the same mirror, but these are two totally different people, both physically and mentally.
I got to where I am today because I discovered small-group personal training, and oh, how my life has changed.
I just want to tell you a bit about myself and my mission.
I started this gym to provide a space for those who don't like commercial gyms, who are struggling with weight issues, and who are self-conscious, so that they have a fitness space to come to that they can feel comfortable in. A place where they will not be judged or feel like others are looking at and judging them.
This is not a gym for people with big egos and those who like to spend their time taking selfies, so if that is what you are into, then this isn't the place for you.
For as long as I can remember, I have struggled with my own weight. A few years ago, my weight ballooned to 103.5 kg (16 stone, 3 pounds).
I had high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
I was depressed and riddled with anxiety. I couldn't look at myself in the mirror.
I knew I had to do something before my health got any worse, so I took the plunge and joined a small private gym and started doing small group personal training, and with time and consistency, the hard work paid off.
Taking these steps to get my life and fitness back on track has been life-changing.
I discovered that working out on a regular basis is not only good for you physically, but it also has a massively positive effect on your mental health. Having the support of working out in a group really enhances everything.
I have spent the last few years focusing on both my physical and mental health and educating myself so that I can help others.
I want to help people get started on their fitness journeys so that they can rest easier knowing I've been there and understand what they're going through.

Group personal training provides a personalised approach to your training, similar to one-on-one training, but in a group setting, keeping costs low.
It gives you all the benefits of having a coach on hand to give you focused attention and help when needed throughout your session.
In these sessions, you will do a large range of exercises like bench press, deadlifts, squats,leg curls, bicep curls, and many more. The list is endless.
All of the exercises are designed to help you increase your muscle mass and bone density, which may help reduce osteoporosis later in life.
This is very important for those over 30, as your muscle mass decreases by 3-8% per decade after you turn 30. As they say, if you don't use it, you lose it.

What is Group Personal Training
Group personal training provides a personalised approach to your training, similar to one-on-one training, but in a group setting, keeping costs low.
What Group training isn't
Don’t confuse group training with exercise classes. An exercise class is a group session that anyone can join and that is not personalised to anyone in particular.
Group training extends for a longer period of time and includes multiple sessions with the same people. The trainer provides some personalisation for members of the group, and there is usually a common focus or goal.
What are the benefits of 1-on-1 personal training versus group personal training?
With 1-2-1 personal training, you get the whole gym and the trainer to yourself. With group training, there will be a few of you training at the same time.
Other than that, everything else is the same.
How much is membership?
My services are tailored to you and your goals so your membership option will depend on what you specifically want and need.
Small group personal training memberships starts from €119 per month.
Do I need to be fit?
No. Your fitness goal is unique to you. I’ll assess your current level, personalise your programme and we can take it at a pace that works for you.
How often should I train?
This is up to each individual, but I would recommend three times per week.
How will you measure my body composition?
By using Tanita's BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis) technology, the body composition monitors can measure #your: weight, body fat percentage, body water percentage, muscle mass, physique rating, basal metabolic rate (BMR), daily caloric intake (DCI), metabolic age, bone mass, and visceral fat.
This is the same system as seen in Operation transformation and the Clinic for Healthy People.
